Inspired by one of my birdwatching walks, where I sat on the grass and was surrounded by Yellow-Rumped Warblers. They were foraging for food and just going about their day, allowing me to observe them for more than 30 minutes.

Original oil painting of the magnificent great blue heron. I have a soft spot for this bird and wanted to portray the beauty in the plumage, the stance and created the setting around my favorite time of the day - dusk. I have had multiple herons visit me during that time.


Disclosure: This painting has a couple of repaired tears in the canvas, which resulted in a drawing on the back of it, so it turned out to be a double piece of art!

I have been wanting to continue my photography for some time. As a creative person, I love framing things I see in certain ways and making up scenarios. For example when the Red Winged Blackbird landed on top of the “Park Closes at Dusk”
When people started to tell me there is a Mourning Dove right outside the door 🤩🤩🤩 Truly felt like a sign! Although I don’t believe in signs, that was very sweet to happen haha 🤪 There’s still time to check out my show until July 2
